While in Italy I found it almost impossible to not jump down on the ground and photograph every dog I came across! I’m sure some of the dog owners thought I was insane – “maybe she’s from a place with no doggies – gasp!” I hope there is no such place. However, some of the owners were very excited to have their furry friend’s photo taken. Next time I go on vacation I will have to learn “I am pet photographer” in the native language. Hope you enjoy… I know I enjoyed snapping these few!
Ohmigosh! I’m SO happy that you took some time to photograph the dogs while on your trip! The first two – and even the dogs wrapped in shiny owner jackets – totally ooze Italy! Great captures.

I am rarely speechless — but I am speechless. Those are fantastic. Of course, I love the second one with the man and the orange wall. Very, very COOL. And I love 5,7,8,& 10. Not to mention that we had a dog growing up that looked just like #9. His real name was Joker. But we called him Joe-Joe-the-Dog-Faced-Dog. Is #10 wearing mink?? The look on #6 is priceless. I’m impressed – again.
