I had such a great time photographing these two little boys… What’s that saying “boys will be boys”?? That’s the truth, we had such a great time playing and making a mess. It took me back to my childhood growing up on a ranch and getting into just about everything I could find. I was a bit of a tomboy myself ;) We all started out pressed and propper but ended up sopping wet with huge smiles on our faces!

Jake started to get super silly toward the end of our session, he really came out of his shell. I just love some of the faces we caught!

SPCA Thursday

It’s been a while since I’ve posted photos from SPCA Thursday, but I am still there every Thursday! I decided these guys needed their time to shine, they are perfect in every way and are ready for their new home!

Roxy and Brownie are ready for their close-close up!

Ikea and Bella were ready for some play time!! Not sure where Ikea got her name…

Believe it or not…

Believe it or not the holidays will be here before we know it! I know what you’re saying. “It’s still 100 degrees out!?!” Well we do live in Texas :)

I’ve already started my blue-mutt-super-secret-surprise photo sessions that will soon turn into amazing Christmas gift for the unsuspecting ;)  It is so much fun to be in on a surprise… I only wish I could be there on Christmas morning when the person being surprised just can’t seem to figure out how you got photos of their own dog! Now is the time to start thinking about getting your gifts together for the holiday and this is one of the best gifts for that “oh so hard to buy for” person in your life. And remember if you don’t have access to that special someone’s pet, no worries… a gift certificate will do the trick!

my friend ranger

Ranger is one of those dogs who becomes your immediate best friend right when you meet him. Within 5 minutes of me greeting him he had dropped his favorite bright green ball in my lap. His mom told me that meant he really liked me and that the entire shoot was going to be centered around that ball. Boy was she right – he was not about to let that thing out of his sight. It made for some great shots, I’ve got to get one of those for Willie!

Ranger also has an older sister cat named Shadow, she is beautiful but a little shy. Don’t you just love the color behind her!!
