Heidi has got to be one of the softest pups I’ve ever touched! She is a Schnoodle, which is a word that makes me smile. A Schnoodle is half Schnauzer and half Poodle. I could pet her all day long – plus she is super smart and so well behaved. She loves treats – I felt bad when her mom told me I had just given her about two weeks worth of treats – but how could I resist? Just look at that sweet puppy face!
I could help but giggle when Bailey and Rooney came bursting out the front door to greet me for their photo shoot. It never ceases to amaze me how dogs are just full of love for everyone and everything around them. Bailey, a West Highland Terrier, measures in at an astounding 12″ tall, while Rooney, a lovable Labradoodle, is a modest 36″!! Bailey can walk right under Rooney and he wouldn’t even notice. However, they are inseperable – best buds. I’m sure you can figure out who’s the goofball of the pair… Rooney. While Bailey was a very sophisticated little lady!

When I found out that Hazel’s parents wanted to do an “urban” shoot I was so excited I almost fell out of my chair! I was ready to try something new – so we did a bunch of scouting out areas and decided on Deep Ellum. I went out an hour early and just walked the entire area finding some really cool stuff. I am so happy with the results of this photo shoot, and I hope Hazel’s parents are as well! Of course it helps that Hazel is an amazingly beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback full of joy. I just couldn’t decide which photos to post – so this will be a two-part-er…
This guy stole my heart, he is a 11 year old german shepherd who has a kind soul. He was right at home in Addison Circle, we just followed his lead and let him do his favorite things. Walking with his best friend – Jolene, playing in the water, chewing on sticks, watching the world go by… he also loves to be in the cool shade, enjoying the breeze. What a handsome guy!
Now, I know I love pugs and I know I love beagles… so when I heard about Oliver & Owen who are puggles I was so excited to meet them. Oliver & Owen are actually brothers – their parents only set out to get one puppy, but when they saw these two they couldn’t choose just one… I don’t blame them! Even though they look alike they have personalities of their own. Owen is on the left and Oliver on the right – they are both full of love, kisses, and tail wags. They also have a sister cat named Chloe, who is the queen of the upstairs. She’s pretty shy but we were able to get a few photos of her as well.
Owen had just learned how to “roll-over” so he was proud to show the whole family his trick!
I would say these two are pretty much inseparable :)
