BEVO is BACK

As many of you already know it is TX-OU weekends here in the big D. Once a year Dallas is filled with Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners for one of the biggest college football rivalries around, and that means one thing… BEVO is BACK! Tonight I am headed out to photograph Bevo for the second year in a row and I couldn’t be more excited – I am a graduate of The University of Texas so it means that much more to me. As for the big game? I’ll be there in my burnt orange cheering for my horns… Hook’em!

My Uber cool Niece and Nephew

The words Deep Ellum and kids usually don’t go together but I decided to give it a go – and I am absolutely in love with the results! Of course it helps when you have two cool kiddos with some awesome sunglasses ๐Ÿ˜‰

Here is a quick sneak peak to wet your appetite. There are many, many more to come. I just couldn’t resist putting these up right away!

Summer at Camp Bow Wow

Camp Bow Wow is one of the best doggie daycares in the Dallas area. They really do love their doggy clients and treat them to fun and treats all day long! We joined up to provide a summer mini session to all the pups at camp. Ever met 50 dogs all at once? Well I have and I loved every minute of it. Each one has their very own personality and are just too cute for words. How could I ever call being a pet photographer a job?? There are a lot of photos here but it brings a smile to my face… almost like school pictures!

If you see your fur-baby in the group let us know by leaving a comment. ย Or let us know which fur-baby photo is your favorite! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thank you Camp Bow Wow for being such a great pet business and friend!

Scout & Casper

Scout and Casper are two super laid back brothers who I first met at my favorite Dallas Doggie Daycare: Camp Bow Wow. I actually photographed Scout during our Valentines Day Photos last year!

I was so excited to see him again and meet his brother Casper, with his beautiful blue eyes! Scout is the older of the two at 10 years old, but you would never know it – aside from the presence of ย his white eyebrows(so cute). You can even see a difference in his “aging” from February 2009 (above) to today. He is a “happy-go-lucky” guy, who really loves his Dad… and chasing squirrels. Casper, on the other hand, is only 2 and 1/2 years old – and very careful and shy. He is named Casper for a couple different reasons. First of all he is super friendly – lots of love for everyone around (that is once he knows you’re a dog lover) but holds a special place in his heart for his Mom. He also likes to hide and peak around corners to see what’s going on before joining in the fun. Also, you can never overlook his beautiful ice-blue eyes!

I love these two photos together. If I had to caption them… 1. Awe, mmmoooom – why do you have to embarrass me all the time. 2. Okay, I love you too and give kisses now! You embarrassed? (okay so I’m no comedian – check out I Has a Hot Dog for some real laughs!)

Action time – I wanted to highlight the ball that Casper is about to snag out of the air, can you find it? I just love Scouts face in his action shot – very determined!

I’m so happy I caught this candid moment of their little family.
