Sadie – the baby Aussie

I am so VERY in love with Sadie – and her mom is pretty cool too! Sadie is just a bitty baby – but is growing very fast. So we wanted to catch this cute puppy phase before it was gone! Cheerful, goofy, happy, clumsy, silly, fluffy – are all words that describe this spunky little girl.

Don’t you wish you woke up this happy every morning – 3 paws off the ground your tail and your tongue in the air!

A puppy “sit” and one ear that’s higher than the other would make any one squeal! I know I did!

It was obvious how much Sadie loved her mom and wanted to make her happy.

I can’t wait to watch Sadie grow up into a beautiful Australian Shepherd! I just love my “job” as a pet photographer – as if I could ever call this a job :)

SPCA – shelter dogs

Today at the SPCA of Texas here in Dallas was all smiles! Big ones too. I mean really, really, big ones. This first guy had the goofiest faces – almost like he was hamming it up for me. Just love it! Enjoy and adopt a dog today ;)

And don’t forget about the cats – they smile with their tails!

Mollie – the 11 year old puppy!

Meet Mollie – when her mom called me and told me she wanted a photo session with her 11 year old Lab I was ready for a super slow, lovely old lady photo session. BOY was I in for a surprise! Mollie had so much energy and was ready to run, swim, roll, jump – and I was loving every minute of it! It makes me so happy to see such energy and health is an older pup! It was plain to see how much Mollie loved her mom and how much her mom loved her. I can tell they have an amazing bond and was happy to help capture that bond.

Park Cities Quail Unlimited

It’s that time of year again – Blue Mutt was happily invited back to the Park Cities Quail Unlimited Banquet here in Dallas to take part in their silent auction. I had a great time! Everyone there loved this photo of Dixie with the Dallas skyline behind her that I took one year ago – so I’ve decided to set up a Dallas Skyline Day. Since this location is more of a “one-shot” type place –  I will set up for a day in this spot and have 30 minute sessions with each client to get this increadible photo! If you might be interested please indicate below with a comment. If there is enough interest we can move forward with more details. And thank you Park Cities Quail for a fun evening.

Snow… in Dallas!

Crazy – Fun – Cold! If you’ve watched the news lately you know that Dallas had record snow fall this week. I’ve never seen anything like it! We did it all: built two snowmen, went sledding, made s’mores over the fire… and went without power for 32 hours… brrrrrrrrr! I took Mr. Blue Mutt out to see what he thought of this strange white stuff falling from the sky – well he loved it! It was hard to get him to come inside – especially once he realized he could bury his soccer ball in the snow. Here are two quick photos I have managed to edit since the power has come back on. There are many more to come! If this only happens once every 50 years you can bet I filled up my camera… but I did put it down for a snowball fight!
