Winston… All Puppy!

Get ready for some crazy amounts of cuteness! Winston is what I call “All Puppy.” The floppy ears, the huge paws, the wrinkles, the puppy kisses, the clumsiness, and the softest fur ever! He is a 11 week old lab puppy and a hand full according to his parents… but how can you stay mad at a face like that? Puppies grow up so fast and I’m so glad these clients decided to capture it forever. I had a blast photographing this little one and he was pooped by the end of the session.

Curious little guy…

It was lights out shortly after this photo was taken. Sweet little guy.

This might be proof that I have the best job in the world – I love being a pet photographer!

Three Labs and a Pool

Three labs and a pool is a great combination and a pet photographers dream. I had so much fun photographing these three brothers; Duke, Murphy, and Niko. Each one had a personality of their own. Duke is the beautiful chocolate lab with the golden eyes. He is the oldest of the bunch and keeps everyone in order, and he loves to play fetch! Murphy is the gorgeous yellow lab with the sweetest eyes, he is the middle kid and loves treats. Niko is the sleek black lab and the youngest of the pack, he is full of hugs and kisses and still has a lot of puppy in him!

By the end of the photo session it looked like I had jumped in the pool with them, you know that feeling when your tennis shoes are so soaked that they squish while you walk… lots of labs shaking off right out of the pool!

Sneak Peak: Nena & Pepe

I had so much fun photographing these two at White Rock Lake in Dallas. Nena & Pepe are two beautiful dogs with personalities of their own. They have the typical “big sister” – “little brother” relationship. Love it! I spent most of the day rolling around in the grass with them. I have the best job ever as a pet pet photographer! Here is a quick sneak peak.

Nena: “Big Sister”

Pepe: “Little Brother”

The SPCA of Texas here in Dallas contacted me to take photos for their website – and I couldn’t be more excited. I will be spending every Thursday morning doing one of my favorite things in the world – playing with puppies and being a pet photographer at the same time. Hopefully I will be helping some of them find their forever homes!

Honeymoon in Italy!

I’m back from my honeymoon! I know it’s been a while since my last post but I am about to make up for that…just you wait! I thought I would kick things off with some photos I took in Rome. My degree in Architecture really payed off here, however I had to change all the setting on my camera since I am used to shooting fast, floppy, and hyper pups that never sit still. The buildings here have not moved in a long, long time. One of the oldest we went to was built in 80 A.D. Hard to imagine! Enjoy, more to come, and maybe even some little Italian Doggies! How could a pet photographer resist??
