My SPCA Friends

The weather here in Dallas is really starting to feel like Spring. Beautiful blue skies always make me happy. I spent some extra time with my friends at the SPCA this week – there were some real characters! Hope everyone has a great weekend :)

This little guy looooovvvvveeed his tennis ball, it is too big for him to carry it around in his mouth so he runs around holding it by the fuzz. See the fuzz on his chin!

This little puppy’s name is Jenson, can you believe those ears, and the one blue eye! And the love bug on the right was all smiles – too funny!

Dog?? Horse?? Dog?? Love it!!

Never Too Busy for My Shelter Pups

Things have been getting pretty crazy for Blue Mutt Photography. I couldn’t be more excited. However, I still want to take time to help pups in need find there forever homes. That’s why I spent this morning at the SPCA in Dallas. Check out these cuties!

Jazzie is a young sweet  girl who’s been at the SPCA waiting for home over a month now – that makes her a VIP (very important pet)!!

Beautiful Tara has just about the softest fur I’ve ever felt. Her ears actually stand straight up – but when she smiles super big they go down.

SPCA Thursday

The SPCA was full of new faces today – I had so much fun photographing all the pups outside. It is finally starting to cool down here in Dallas :)

I fell in love with this little guys ears – I think they are a little confused. His name is Carlos.

Hercules is a gentle giant looking for a new home. He is so sweet, a leaner I would say – always wanted to be next to me.

This smiley girl is Shasta – she sure does know how to ham it up for a the camera!

Meet Blaze – he was all about his tennis ball – just needs someone to throw it for him.

Next to Blaze’s run was Grace – and it’s a good thing she has that name because she was in the air more than on the ground… However, she was a little camera shy.

This little love bug is Nanni and she loves to play fetch!

SPCA Thursday

Today is SPCA Thursday, aka fun day! I had so much fun playing with these little guys this morning. It is so hot here in Texas, but they were super excited to be outside and ready for their photo shoot.

This guy’s name is Scoobie, he has beautiful eyes! At first he wasn’t all that sure of the camera, but he warmed up to it pretty fast.

Here is little Miss McKenzie, she sure does know how to apply her eye-liner.

This little guys was too funny – he didn’t want me to leave, just kept running circles around me!

Meet Nell, she was ready for some tummy rubs & kisses.

Melody was ready to play. She came into the shelter only one week ago – she sure has come a long way!

Super silly girl… love the hair-do!

And last but certainly not least this little chihuahua’s name is Jazz. I bet you just said “awwwwwe” …I know I did! Thank you to my fellow Volunteer, Melinda (that’s her shoulder), she also fell in love with Jazz.

Best. Ears. Ever.

This little girls name is Lola, and she has the best set of ears I’ve ever come across! I met her at the SPCA this morning and she sure did brighten my day. I think she is trying to balance out her ears with her tongue.

And this little lady is sugar – she was doing her own thing this morning so I got this great silhouette shot. She’s a sweetie!
